Health Care
The quality of service and expertise at the UCLA Medical Center is excellent. It is ranked first on the West Coast and third in the United States. However, health care is expensive and most medical facilities will charge you at the point of service.

Please note that UCLA does not provide medical coverage for exchange students. This is why the UCLA Anderson Exchange Program requires that all exchange students purchase a policy of their choice that meets the coverage miminums in the United States. Additionally, any dependents (spouse or children) staying with you must also be covered by insurance .

IMPORTANT

You must obtain adequate medical insurance and provide documented proof in the form of either a confirmation letter or insurance card to verify coverage. Proof of medical insurance must be provided before you can attend classes. The insurance confirmation form below lists the minimums required.

You may use a plan from your home country, but it must meet the mandatory minimum coverage as stated in the UCLA Insurance Confirmation Form. All exchange students must submit a signed UCLA Insurance Confirmation Form to Magdalena Barragan, and present a copy of your insurance to her and to the OISS upon arrival and BEFORE you attend classes. If you do not have medical insurance at present, we recommend searching on the web for a competitive price.

GMAC與ETS(GRE測驗的執行單位)之間的角力競爭也逐漸浮上檯面。

  Robert Schaeffer
